LEGAL
Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Rules Of Faith Ltd (registered as Rules Of Faith Limited, company number 15038993) uses cookies and similar technologies on rulesoffaith.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar tools such as pixels and local storage. Some are essential to run the shop. Others help us understand the site or measure marketing. Where UK law requires consent for a non-essential cookie, we ask before it runs.
Cookies we use
Essential
Required for the shop to work. These include Shopify session, cart, checkout, security, and preference cookies (for example currency and cookie-consent choices). The site cannot function properly without them.
Analytics
These help us understand how the site is used so we can keep it fast and clear:
- Shopify analytics cookies (including _shopify_y, _shopify_s, and related analytics cookies);
- Microsoft Clarity, which records aggregated session behaviour (pages viewed, clicks, and similar) so we can find usability issues. Clarity is not used to sell your data.
Marketing
Shopify may set marketing cookies to measure visits from campaigns and to help us show relevant promotions. If we use an email platform (such as Klaviyo) for newsletters or on-site messages, that tool may also set cookies when you interact with those features. We only use marketing cookies where you have consented, or where the law allows.
Payments and reviews
Checkout is processed by Shopify and the payment methods shown at checkout (including card networks, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna where offered). Those providers may set cookies on their own domains to complete the payment securely.
Judge.me powers product reviews. If you write or view reviews, Judge.me may set cookies needed for that widget.
How long they last
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Others persist for a set period (Shopify identity cookies can last up to a year). You can delete them at any time in your browser.
How to control cookies
Use the cookie banner or preference control on this site, where shown, to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will affect cart, checkout, and login.
Microsoft Clarity and similar analytics can also be limited through your browser’s tracking-prevention settings.
